Let me introduce you all to my cousin, Gabby! Gabby is the most awesome cousin ever! I tell her everything and she doesn't judge me or tell me that the dreams I have are crazy. She helped me make my dream come true, by creating this blog, and I love her so much. Gabby is super artsy and is my go-to gal for fashion advice. She's adventurous, funny and creative; most important of all, she's caring and sweet!
In the holiday season of 2014, my parents celebrated twenty-four years of marriage. Recently, I moved to the Toronto area, and my family and I drove up to the Quebec to spend the Christmas holidays with my mum's family. It was a lovely time spent filled with joy, laughter and love. On Christmas Eve, I went to the Christmas Eve Mass, had a lovely dinner with my cousins and my entire family, and then, I went to a "Midnight Gathering" party at my aunt's house with my mum, her sister, and my grandmother. While there, I had an opportunity to finally explain to my family about this blog, that I recently created. This picture on the left is of the Christmas Tree and our stockings before we opened them and the picture on the right is my outfit that I wore on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning, I woke up to find some beautifully wrapped presents underneath the tree, and some lovely goodies inside my stocking. (Let me know if you would be interested in seeing a blog post sharing my "Christmas Haul". I would be absolutely thrilled to share that with you.) I had a yummy brunch that consisted of: pancakes, eggs, baked beans, sausage, bacon, fruit salad, coffee, and fruit juice. In the afternoon, I had a massage appointment booked with my aunt, who is a massage therapist, which was relaxing and soothing. Afterwards, I stayed for a cup of tea, which was a chamomile blend with honey and cinnamon and a delicious slice of Yuletide Log, which was pink! Later that evening, we had dinner at my grandmother's condo and my cousins and I spent the evening playing billiards and watching movies and TV. It was a very enjoyable, blessed day and I'm grateful for everything that was received, and for my entire family to still be all together and happy. On Boxing Day, I was invited for lunch and in the spa at my aunt's house, which was relaxing and fun, while my cousin had her driver's test. I also received some beautiful jewellery pieces and an Italian calendar, as my Christmas presents from my aunt and uncle. That evening, I had shared an oven-roasted chicken pizza with roasted red peppers with my cousin, we had veggies and fruit; while my other cousin, and the other adults had grilled cheese sandwiches, and for dessert, we had hot chocolate with eggnog and an assortment of cookies. On the 27th of December, I spent the day cleaning and packing up my things from my aunt's house in order to leave that night for Montreal, where my other aunt lives. With the help of my cousin, Gabby, I was able to make my second dream come true, which is creating and launching my own YouTube channel! (My YouTube channel name is 4languageschicka. I have included a link to my own YouTube channel on my main blog page, for those who are interested to check out my channel, and subscribe.) That afternoon, my aunt, my uncle and my cousins drove up from Montreal to spend the day with us, in which we had our Christmas celebrations, gift exchanging and dinner, which was fun. Later that night, I packed up my things and went off to Montreal with my aunt, my uncle and my cousins, with whom I am currently spending time and helping out with, to this day. Hi! Katherine here! Welcome to my blog and hope you like it! :)
